UPGMEE 2010 Uttarakhand PG Medical Entrance Examination for MD/MS/Diploma Admissions

Kumaun University Nainital invites applications for Uttarakhand Post Graduate Medical Entrance Examination (UPGMEE-2010) The competitive Entrance Examination  will select the candidates for admission to MD/MS/Diploma courses Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences , Jolly Grant, Dehradun  for the  year 2010.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

The competitive Entrance Examination for MD/MS/Diploma courses shall be open to such candidates who:

i)                    have passed the MBBS examination from Uttarakhand (HIMS, Jolly  Grant, Dehradun and UFTM College & Hospital, Haldwani) and were  admitted through competitive examination and not through  NRI/Management Quota.

ii)                  are domicile of Uttarakhand and have passed MBBS examination from Medical Colleges of other states and were admitted  through 15% All  India Quota (Vide Supra).

iii)                 have completed/will be completing Rotatory Compulsory Internship by 31st March, 2010.

iv)                are domicile of Uttarakhand and have passed MBBS examination from  the State Medical Colleges of Uttar Pradesh State (i.e. Meerut, Kanpur,  Agra, Jhansi, Allahabad, Gorakhpur and Lucknow) and were admitted  through Combined Pre Medical Test conducted by the Government of  UP.

RCC Trivandrum DNB Admissions 2010

Regional Cancer Centre (RCC) Thiruvananthapuram invites applications for Admissions to Post Graduate Super Specialty Courses of the National Board of Examinations (DNB) 2010 in the following specialities

1. Medical Oncology :        1 seat

Eligibility    :      MD/DNB(General Medicine) or MD/DNB (Paediatric)and pass in CET – Super Speciality.

2. Surgical Oncology :       2 seats

Eligibility :                M.S/DNB (General Surgery) and pass in CET Super Speciality

Applications on plain paper should reach the Director, Regional Cancer Centre, Thiruvananthapuram-695 011 accompanied by the following documents on or before 19/02/2010.

  1. Copy of certificate of DNB (CET-Super Specialty) and MD/DNB(General Medicine) or MD/DNB (Paediatrics), MS/DNB(General Surgery) Certificate ,as the case may be.
  2. Copy of Medical Council Registration.
    1. A Demand Draft of Rs.1000/- (for each specialty) drawn in favour of the Director , Regional Cancer Centre payable at Thiruvananthapuram.
    2. Three passport size photographs.

E-mail-id and telephone number of the candidate should be shown in the application. Other  details   are  available  in  the  website  of Regional  Cancer  Centre (www.rcctvm.org).

All candidates with the prescribed qualifications should appear for an interview/Counselling with the certificates in original at their own cost on 25/02/2010 (Thursday) at 9.A.M at the Director’s Office, Regional Cancer Centre, Thiruvananthapuram. Selected candidates should join the course immediately by paying the annual fee of Rs.50,000/- by cash/cheque.

•   Candidates who have cleared CET (SS) January 2009 and January 2010 are eligible for admission to the session January 2010.

and a Degree Course Completion Certificate. The attested copies of Higher Secondary, Degree, Provisional Mark lists, Transfer Certificate and Course Certificate should be attached with the application form.

Pune University MBA Biotech Admissions 2010

The Department of Management Sciences, University of Pune announces admission to MBA – BIOTECH

Eligibility
A candidate with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science or appeared at the final year examination (Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Botany, Chemistry, Life Sciences, Marine Biology, Microbiology, Zoology), Agriculture, Ayurved, Medicine, Engineering, Pharmacy, Technology, Veterinary Sciences from a statutory university.

Candidates seeking admission to this program for the academic year 2010 should appear for the ATMA test which will be conducted on February 14th, 2010.

The interested candidates should register themselves for the GD/PI test (Group Discussion and Personal Interview) conducted by the Dept. of Management Sciences, University of Pune (PUMBA).

How to Apply?

The prospectus can be obtained in person from the PUMBA office on payment of Rs. 900/- (for open category) and Rs. 700/- (for reserved category of State of Maharashtra only) by Demand Draft from January 4, 2010 on all working days between 11.00am to 5.00pm.

The prospectus can also be obtained by post by paying through a DD of Rs. 950/- (for open category) and Rs. 750/- (for reserved category of State of Maharashtra only).

The DD should be drawn in favor of ‘The Registrar University of Pune’, payable at Pune from any nationalized Bank.
