IIMA – PG Programme in Public Management and Policy (PGP-PMP) Admissions 2009

Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad announces admissions to The Post-Graduate Programme in Public Management and Policy (PGP-PMP)– a one-year fully residential programme with a focus on public policy and governance, infrastructure development and financing, and public enterprise management

ELIGIBILITY

Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any discipline and must have at least seven year’s work experience in a supervisory/managerial/administrative position.

Candidates with legislative experience can also apply provided they are:

27 or more years of age and

have one or more years of experience as a minister at the central level or as a member of Parliament or two or more years of experience as a minister at the state level or as a member of state assembly or have served local bodies for five or more years.

However, all such applicants must have a bachelor’s degree.

In addition, all applicants must have valid GMAT/GRE score obtained between April 1, 2006 and November 3, 2008 or CAT (Common Admission Test) score from any of the last three CATs (please note that those who are planning to appear for 2008-09 CAT are not eligible to apply). Applicants without GMAT/GRE/CAT score will necessarily have to take IIMA’s special aptitude test

The test would be held at Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Delhi, and Kolkata. Based on GMAT/GRE/CAT/Test scores and overall application rating, short-listed candidates would be called for an interview at Ahmedabad between 19^th and 21st of December. Final results would be announced

by the first week of January.

The cut-off score for GMAT was 650 last year and the average score was 680 or its equivalent for candidates offered admission to the programme.

Indian Institute of Management Lucknow Announces the 3^rd One Year Residential International Programme in Management for Executives (IPMX 2010-2011) (Commencing from April 2010)

Programme:

IPMX is a full-time one year residential post-graduate programme in management for middle/senior level executives from corporates/ development sector, entrepreneurs, consultants, professionals, defence personnel and civil servants, to prepare them for leadership roles.

The programme would develop business leadership and managerial skills grounded in the Indian and International business environment. The programme includes a 3-4-weeks International Module in Europe/East Asia to enhance cross-cultural experience and broaden understanding of global management challenges.

The Institute would facilitate student’s placement of non-sponsored candidates.

Eligibility:

• Executives with Bachelor’s degree in any discipline or equivalent

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent to be considered for admission. They must be 27 years or more by the start of the programme (born on or before March 31, 1983).
