INC & RGUHS – Ph.D Programme in Nursing Admissions 2009

National Consortium for Ph.D in Nursing by Indian Nursing Council In collaboration with Rajiv Gandhi University Of Health Sciences, Bangalore Invites applications for Ph.D Programme in Nursing.

1. A) Eligibility

Applications are invited from eligible candidates who have obtained

(a) M.Phil/ M.Sc (Nursing) or a Post Graduate degree in nursing recognized by INC, for enrolment for Ph.D in Nursing (part-time) under Faculty of Nursing RGUHS.

(b) The candidates should have passed M.Sc Nursing with a minimum of 60% marks.

B) Criteria For Selection:

Selection for the Phd. Programme will be based on:

i. Merit in the entrance test (90 marks)

ii. Candidates Obtaining M.Phil in nursing (5 marks)

iii. Publications (5 marks)

C) Selection will be made by the Ph.D consortium and the decision of the consortium shall be final

2. Application Form

The prescribed application form may be downloaded from ww.indiannursingcouncil.org or www.rguhs.ac.in. The duly filled in application form may be submitted along with D.D of Rs. 2000/-drawn in favour of Nodal officer, Nodal Centre, National Ph.D consortium in Nursing payable at Bangalore Duly filled in application form has to be submitted to the nodal centre on or before 15th December 2008 by 4:00 p.m. to the following address:
