NATA 2010 B.Arch Entrance Examination will commence on March 01, 2010
The National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) measures the aptitude of the applicant for specific field of study, i.e. Architecture. The test measures drawing and observation skills, sense of proportion, aesthetic sensitivity and critical thinking ability, that have been acquired over a long period of time, and that are related to specific field of study, i.e. Architecture.
Prospective applicants desirous of taking admission to First year of undergraduate course in Architecture (Bachelor of Architecture) in India take NATA. NATA scores are used by admissions authorities of different Government, Govt. Aided & unaided schools / colleges of Architecture, to provide common measures for comparing the qualifications of applicants.
All schools / colleges of Architecture, Government, Government aided, University Departments, private unaided, including colleges affiliated to self-financed Deemed Universities and Private Universities, or any department of Architecture within a college, requires that its applicants take the NATA.
Eligibility Criteria:
The Eligibility Criteria for admission o 5 year B.Arch. shall be as follows
10+2 or equivalent from a recognized Board/ University with Mathematics as a subject of examination with at least 50% aggregate marks
OR
10+3 diploma (Any Stream) recognized by central/ State Govts. With 50% aggregate marks
OR
International Baccalaureate Diploma, after 10 years of schooling with not less than 50% marks in aggregate and with Mathematics as a compulsory subject of examination
NATA shall be conducted at various designated Test Centers in COA approved architectural institutions in the country on all working days commencing from 01.03.2010

Sir I am iqbal from chennai.I don’t have any previous knowledge in architecture. But i want to choose architecture as my future field .How can choose architecture as my carrier course.
I would like to take up B.Arch in SAP,Anna University. But i failed tO attend NATA ,what other ways are there to join B.Arch. Kindly reply through mail.
