The Board of Secondary Education Andhra Pradesh (BSEAP) came into existence in 1953. It was established to perform and administrate various activities of secondary education of Andhra Pradesh. It is an independent department functioning under ministry of secondary education, Government of Andhra Pradesh and is responsible for conducting the SSC Public Examinations held in this state.

The Andhra Pradesh Board class 10 examination, popularly known as the SSC exam, is conducted by the Directorate of Government Examinations, twice in a year. The Annual exam is conducted in the month of March and the Advanced Supplementary Examination is conducted in May/June. Every year, approximately six lakh students from across the state appear for the SSC examination.

APBIE- Andhra Pradesh Board of intermediate examinations has reduced the syllabus of Mathematics paper for the 2022 session of APSSC Board examinations. The syllabus has been reduced by percentage. The students only need to study 12 chapters instead od 14 chapters.

AP SSC Exam 2022 Timetable

Andhrapradesh education department has announced the tentative timetable for Class 10 SSC Board Examinations 2022. As per the schedule, the Final year examinations are planning to be started from 2nd May 2022 and ends on 13th May 2022. the detailed timetable is given below for your referance.

AP SSC Exams pattern:

• The students have to answer four essay questions each carrying five marks (4×5=20),
• Eight short answer questions with two marks to each question (8×2=16),
• Eight very short answer questions with each question carrying 1 mark (8×1=8)
• 12 brief answer questions with half mark to each question (12×1/2=6).

Each paper will be given for 50 marks.

The duration of each examination is 2 hours 45 minutes.

The Grading System:

The performance of the students in the AP SSC Board Examination is evaluated and generated by the Nine-point relative grading System introduced by BSEAP a few years back. This grading system has been widely accepted by all and really eases the burden on the students.
