I am a resident of Andaman & Nicobar Islands. I am planning to do BSc in Yoga Science at Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga (MDNIY), New Delhi. Came to know that there is fellowship to do the same. Is it so?

A Fellowship of Rs. 8,000/- (Eight thousand) per month will be awarded to the following students: Andaman & Nicobar Islands - 2 students & North - East States - 2 students, who are doing BSc Yoga Science at Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga (MDNIY). However, the candidature of the above students has to be recommended and forwarded by the Health /AYUSH Department of the concerned State/ UT. Award of scholarship/fellowship to such selected students is also subjected to their regularity, requisite attendance (min. 80%) and discipline. They have to execute a bond paper as per the prescribed format in this regard.
