How much is the amount of stipend got to do Phd at Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology (RGIPT)?

Students joining the Ph.D. programme as regular candidates will be considered for institute fellowship based on the following norms:
Those students having B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Arch / M.Phil. / B.Sc.(Engg)/ M.Sc. / M.A. /M.Com. or equivalent and who have either a valid GATE score or National Level test–UGC / CSIR / NBHM / DBT etc. (JRFship) will be considered for monthly assistantship of Rs. 18,000/- for 4 years.
Those students having M.Tech. / M.E. / M.Arch / M.Sc.(Engg) or equivalent and Management students with M.B.A. qualification with Engineering /Technical background will be considered for monthly assistantships of Rs. 18,000/- for 4 years. The candidate should have cleared GATE/NET as applicable to the specific discipline before or after master’s degree.
The Assistantship/Fellowships will be payable for 4 years (or the granting agency) or date of submission of thesis, whichever is earlier. Continuation of financial aid is contingent to satisfactory performance. Any act of indiscipline is likely to result in withdrawal of financial aid.
