I need help regarding my education loan which I had taken in July 2008. Actually, being a girl subsidy in interest is given in every bank but my bank i.e corporation bank didn't provide me any subsidy. They are saying that we send the letter in 2009 but you didn't provide income certificate of your parents so now we can't do anything but the truth is I didn't receive any letter.
On the contrary, i went bank so many times to ask about subsidy and at that they said it is given to those whose parents income is below 3 lac and in this current year they are saying parents income should below 4.5 lac..
I am confused and my parents income is less than 4.5 lac in 2009 but they didn't told me about this at that time.
Now,they are charging 13.75% interest to me and not given any subsidy or relaxation for being a girl till now.. Need your help, please tell me what should I can do?
