Hi All,
I have done MCA and working in a MNC. I am interested to do part time Phd in computer science.
Few days back I have applied in a university with the following topic “A conceptual study on social networking sites and their impact on Indian society and view of Indian youth (specially college students) towards these sites.†but rejected with the following comments “The proposal does not contain any idea of developing any algorithm, tool, technique, data structure etc.... The contribution of the work to the Computer Science is not at all clear.
Probably it fits to the Computer Applications under the faculty of Management. Social network study carried out by Yahoo research and Google research labs is very famous in the world of CSâ€.
So can someone help me with what changes should I do to make is suitable for research work. Even the suggestion on new topic is also welcome.
