Pilots can be employed in one of four areas â€” passenger scheduled services, passenger charter services, freight services and business aviation (general aviation).

Liberalization of the aviation industry, subsequent expansion of the domestic fleet, the entry of new players such as Spicejet, Kingfisher, Indigo, Go, Paramount Airways and MDLR Airlines, and the ever-increasing tourist propelled a range of career opportunities in the aviation sector. The airline sector routing for talent and offering extremely well-paying packages.
