Get funding for research visits to UK

Charles Wallace India Trust-CWIT offers upto 10 grants towards the costs in the UK of short visits by academic research scholars and professionals working in the arts and humanities. These grants are generally sufficient for visits of up to 3 weeks.

The grants do not cover international fares and are available up to £1000

Indian citizens living in India, aged between 25 and 45, have good knowledge of English, completed their studies and have 4 or more years of research or professional experience in their specialization, or be in the final stages of doctoral research and not have received a CWIT grant in the previous 5 years are eligible to apply for CWIT Grants.

They must state clearly what they want to do in the UK or which archive material they wish to consult and how they plan to use the experience on return to India.

Last date 31 December 2011.

it Izmir only for short visits. such as workshops or conferences. I Don't think it will be helpful for regular studies.
