Sainik School Satara invites applications from boys only for admission in Class VI & IX for the academic session 2018-19 through All India Sainik School Entrance Exam (AISSEE) which will be conducted on 07 Jan 2018.
The AISSEE will be on OMR based system which will have Multiple Choice Questions with four options.
Eligibility criteria- Class VI - Boys born between 02 Jul 2007 to 01 Jul 2008 (both days inclusive).
Selection procedure - Written Examination, Interview & Medical Examination.
Application form can be had from 16 Oct to 30 Nov 2017 at School Office on all working days from 0930-1300 hrs and on school website http://sainiksatara.org/
Cost of Prospectus-cum-application form - for General, OBC, SBC, VI, NT and Defence category-Rs. 400/-. For SC and ST category-Rs. 250/-. Online application form fee will be accepted through demand draft only. Offline application form fee will be accepted on demand draft or by cash. Demand Draft should only be in favour of Principal, Sainik School Satara. (Money Orders/ Indian Postal Orders/Cheques / Wrong Demand Drafts will not be accepted)
How To Apply : (a) Application Form can be purchased from School office on Demand Draft or by cash. (b) The application form can be provided by POST ONLY on provision of written request, Self addressed & Rs. 40/- postal stamped 10"x 12" size clothbound envelope and Demand Draft as per cost mentioned. © Online application form can be filled up on School Website http://applicationform.sainiksatara.org/Login.aspx. Enclose demand draft as per cost mentioned alongwith completed application form.
Enclosures (a) All candidates have to submit photo attested bonafide certificate. (b) SC and ST category candidates have to submit their certified Caste certificate © Serving Defence personnel should submit their serving certificate. Ex-servicemen should submit their copy of Discharge Certificate. Serving personnel and Ex-servicemen should submit certified copy of daily part II order mentioning candidate's date of birth.
Last date of Submission Of Application Form : Duly completed application form must reach Principal, Sainik School Satara by 05 Dec 2017 till 1700 hrs.
