RRB Assistant Mains 2016 paper analyisis

I just checked the IBPS RRB Assistant Question paper 2016 and found the following points worth noting

Reasoning Ability Question paper synopsis

• Seating Arrangement puzzles was the major question type asked in this section. 2 questions for 20 marks asked. Both were easy ones
  

• 5 Questions came from syllogism section, 2 found a bit tough, others are manageable.
  
• 5 questions from data sufficiency, 1 was very tough, 2 were medium and one was very easy.
  
• 2 questions from blood relations and 2 from ranking puzzles, easy ones
  

English Language

• The paragraph for reading comprehension was a long one. Took a while to grasp the content
  
• 10 questions from cloze test, quite easy ones
  
• Out of the 5 questions from finding the errors, 3 was difficult ones
  
• Fill in the blanks (5 questions) moderate difficulty
  
• Some questions was there based on idioms and phrases.
  

QA

• I found this section was the most difficult
  
• Data Interpretation was very tough for me 10 questions
  
• Data suffiency- 5 questions, almost easy
  
• Quadratic equations- 5 questions asked, moderate difficulty
  
• Miscellaneous questions required a lot of time, since required a lot of calculations.
  

GA

• Easy section. Current affairs was the star of the game. 80% of questions are from current affairs.
