Institutes such as Frankfinn, Air Hostess Academy (AHA) and Indian Aviation Academy are well-known centres for flight attendant and Air Hostess training courses. The Indian Aviation Academy includes subjects such as customer service; personality development; communication; a foreign language; types of aircrafts and galley locations; aircraft dressing and cabin cleaning; basic airport handling; reading of tickets and boarding passes; handling of VIPs, wheelchair passengers and infants: first aid; in-flight catering service; serving techniques for different menus; emergency landing; and handling of difficult situations and safety procedures.
The Air Hostess Academy also covers most of the above-mentioned topics, and in addition, teaches its students to swim and takes them aboard the Airbus A-300 as well.
