CAT Application doubt

I passed my BA English examination this year and the marks were nowhere near the expected score. I decided to improve the examination score next year. But I need to forfeit my marksheet to the University. I am also planning to apply for CAT. In that case will it be difficult ? Whats the solution you people suggest ?

My suggestion is, write the CAT exam this year, If you got selected forget about the improvement and get the Certificate back from University. If not selected, write the exam next year with the new markseet.
