I wanted to complete my M.Ed., however, I have been told that As per NCTE Notification dated 21.07.2006, MA (Education) with B.Ed. is at par with M.Ed. for employment purposes. I want to know how far is it true. I was looking at the NCTE website, but could not find any such information.
Please help.

B.ed M,ed both are impoertent if you are in teacher or lecturer

BEd & MEd should be NCTE approved. MA(Education) don't require NCTE approval. This course is offered through distance education by many universities. But certain universities don't consider as basic qualifications for MPhil or Phd in education.
