Every year, Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts a common recruitment test for the post of Multi Tasking Staff (MTS). This competitive exam is conducted for the post of General Central Service Group ‘C’ Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial post in numerous Central Government Departments/ Ministries/ Offices, in several States and Union Territories.
SSC MTS 2019 exam will comprise of two papers- Paper 1 and Paper 2. The first paper (Paper 1) will be objective type test. There will be four parts in Paper-I having 100 Questions of 100 marks. The total time duration for Paper-1 will be 1.5 hours (90 Minutes) and 2 hours (120 minutes) for visually handicapped candidate. For every wrong answer, there will be negative marking and 0.25 marks will be deducted. The question paper will be in two languages- English and Hindi.
The second paper (Paper 2) will be descriptive type of paper. The candidates will be required to write short essay/letter in English or any language which is included in the 8th schedule of the Constitution. The test will carry 50 marks and the total time duration for Paper 2 will be 30 minutes and 45 minutes for visually handicapped candidate. This paper will be qualifying in nature and will be held for candidates who meet the cut-off prescribed by the SSC in Paper 1 for different categories.

Paper 2 Syllabus
It will be descriptive Test includes Short Essay/Letter in English or any language included in the 8th schedule of the Constitution. This test is conducted to test candidate’s literary abilities and strengths.Â
The SSC MTS 2019 online examination (Tier 1) will be conducted from August 2 – September 6, 2019 while the descriptive exam (Tier 2) will be conducted on November 17, 2019. The candidates have got sufficient time for preparation and it’s the appropriate time to plan a strategy to crack SSC MTS exam 2019.
