What is an Exit bond?
#1
A long-term bond with a low interest rate, often issued by a developing country, that gives the buyer the right of exemption from any rescheduling. (A delay to the redemption of principal by a borrower under the terms of a new repayment schedule. Interest continues to be paid and the rate of interest under the new schedule may be higher or lower than before. )
