Query on doing Post Graduation engineering and GATE exam

Hi,

I have an query on GATE eligibility.

My sister is doing part time engineering in Deemed university, is she eligible for GATE exam? and can she do regular M.E or M.Tech course in any engineering college (recognized university/college)

Graduate aptitude test of Engineering “GATE” the entrance examination for doing post-graduation in top Engineering colleges of India like IIT’s ,NIT ’s and thousands of other engineering colleges .GATE examination is not only for engineering graduate but also for science (M.Sc) and MCA students .

Before starting main theme of this article I want to introduce myself ,I am Post-graduate in Thermal Engineering (Mechanical Engineering specialization) from IIT Delhi in 2006 .I secured 341 rank (in Mechanical category among around 18000 candidates) in GATE 2004 by just preparing six months by adopting following strategy:-
1.Old papers analysis.
2.Time distribution-
3.Be contradict
4.Regular revision
5.Handouts
6.No new topics in last days
7.Take rest
