The courses available for town planning include a Masters degree in architecture (urban development and urban design). Some institutes also offer courses in urban conservation and urban management. Apart from theoretical instruction, there is also a high level of focus on doing a lot of Actical work to supplement the theoretical learning. This because the discipline is a highly practical application oriented one.
The postgraduate courses are two years in duration and provide excellent grounding in town planning
