Difference between aeronautical engineering and aerospace engineering

I am a +2 student and opt to go for engineering. Is there difference between aeronautical engineering and aerospace engineering?

Though both are same, aeronautical engineering is a super specialisation over basic mechanical engineering and civil engineering. It deals with aircraft maintenance, functioning etc and air transportation.
Aerospace engineering consists lot of physics, dynamics, mathematics etc and it deals with research and development, space exploration and issues concerned with manufacture of airborne vehicles.
