Details on JNCASR Project Oriented courses for BSc students

I am a Bsc student at Christ College. Came to know about a project oriented course offered by JNCASR in Biological/ Chemical education. What is the prospective, if doing the course? Please give me details on the courses.

Jawaharlal Nehru Centre For Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR) conducts Project Oriented Chemical Education (POCE) and Project Oriented Biological Education (POBE), in summer for 6-8 weeks (ie; mid-May to July). It is aimed to build creativity and scientific temper into undergraduates, and it involves lectures, laboratory projects and research work.
Selected students are expected to work at the Centre for three consecutive summers, and will receive a monthly scholarship of Rs 6000 per month during their period of stay at the Centre.
On successful completion of the programme, the students will receive a Diploma in Chemistry or Biology from the Centre. Those who complete the POCE/POBE programme with outstanding performance will be eligible for admission to the MS- PhD programme in the Centre subject to satisfactory performance in the interview.
The eligibility for POCE is students presently studying in 1st year of three years B.Sc program (preferably with PCM combination).
And for POBE is students presently studying in 1st year of three years B.Sc program (preferably having Biology as one of the subjects).
