Australian education institutions generally have two student intakes each year - in the months of February and March and then in July and August. Some institutions have started having intakes in September and October as well to meet the needs of international students. So students should select the intake keeping in mind the timeframe required to complete the application and the student visa processes.

You should have an equivalent standard of education.
You should have passed pre-requisite subjects, required as per the graduation.
You should enquire about the university’s minimum standards of entry before you apply.
You should have good fluency in English. You require an overall score of six or better on the International English Language Testing System (IELTS). For TAFE and special studies entry, an overall score of between 5 and 6 is required, depending on the programme demands of the courses. A score of 550 or better on the American Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) is also accepted.
