The following active disadvantages of motion study are:
The motion study is objected to by the workers and labour leaders. They describe it like time study a device for forcing the worker to do more than a reasonable amount of work. It treats workers as a machine.
Workers also object to the changes in the method to which they have been accustomed even though they make their work easier.
It is costly and time consuming.
