The domestic carriers, apart from Indian Airlines and Jet Airways, a number of new airlines have entered the aviation industry. These include Kingfisher Airlines, Air Deccan, Indigo, Go, Spicejet, MDLR airlines and Paramount, with many more expected soon. A large number of international airlines are also a part of the Indian aviation sector and several more are scheduled to start their Indian operations soon. As a result, the demand for attendants has increased substantially bringing with it the added incentive of competitive salaries.
