National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) offers programmes in apparel production at graduate and postgraduate levels at its various centers. The Pearl Academy of Fashion also offers programmes in apparel production at the undergraduate level and garment manufacturing at the postgraduate level. Several other institutes also offer a course in apparel technology and production.
These courses are primarily designed to ensure a strong grounding of technical knowledge garment manufacturing technology in students, and lay stress on the best techniques involved in apparel production, along with the understanding and application of Information tech Students can learn about equipment and processes through; hands-on training in laboratories, classroom sessions and industry experiences.
