Lingalayas University is one of the blacklisted universities by The human resource development ministry in 2010. visit the news page The final decision is still pending with the supreme court. As per section 3 of UGC ACT 1956, the deemed Universities are allowed to run the courses as per the list provided on UGC web site. Lingaya's University is a recognised academic institution by Govt. of India. The name is included in the list of deemed universities at the web site of Ministry of Human Resource and Development(MHRD)/University Grant Commission(UGC). There is no case as black listing of universities by MHRD / UGC.
These two are the only apex bodies for granting the status of Deemed to be University under section 3 of UGC Act 1956 to the instutions, having good reputation and credentials for 10 years. The term "Black listing" has been spread by media to gain the footage only.

Lingya's University is a deemed university recognised by MHRD and UGC. The same can be varified from the list of deemed universities available on their web sites. These are the only two apex bodies for granting the status of Deemed to be University under section 3 of UGC ACt 1956 to institutions of repute having completed 10 years.

The Programs of the Lingaya's University, Faridabad are very much accepted. As per area 3 of UGC ACT 1956, the considered Colleges are permitted to run the courses as per the record offered on UGC website. All the courses run by Lingaya's University are in the record of courses accepted by UGC.
