I wish to join NIFT. How can I get the admission procedure cleared?

The basic requirement for the undergraduate programme at NIFT is clearing the Class-12 level examinations from a recognized board of education. The candidates applying for this programme will then have to undergo the General Ability Test (GAT) and Creative Ability Test (CAT) for the written entrance examination. Short listed candidates from the written entrance examination are required to undergo a situation test, which is a hands-on test to evaluate the candidate's skills "for material handling and innovative ability on a given situation with a given set of materials. Most of the other institutes have their own entrance tests that a student needs to clear to be eligible for their respective programs. At the postgraduate level, the basic requirement at the Pearl Academy of Fashion is a Bachelors degree in any stream.
