Scope of Biomedical engineering

I am planning to do BTech after +2. I wish to specialise in Biomedical Engineering. I would like to know the areas or scope of Biomedical engineering.

As Biomedical engineer, you need to design instruments, devices or solve problems related to Biology and medicine that affects human health. You need to develop devices for clinical equipments, investigating medical imaging systems, devising strategies for clinical decision making etc…
