Qualification for PhD in Food processing Engineering

I want to pursue PhD in Food processing Engineering. Heard that Indian Institute of Crop Processing Technology has Phd in the stream. Is MTech in Food processing as specialization compulsory for it?

You heard it right. Indian Institute of Crop Processing Technology (IICPT) offers Phd in Food processing Engineering. For admission to Phd you are required to have four year Bechelor’s Degree with 60% marks in any of the following disciplines: Food Process Engineering/ Food Technology/ Post Harvest Technology/ Agricultural Engineering and Agricultural Process Engineering.
