Career opportunity after BTech in Bioengineering

I am planning to do BTech in Bioengineering. Does it have career opportunity only in medical sector?

Since you are a graduate from B.Tech IBT, you can join M.Tech BME in any reputed institutes after you clear the GATE with high scores. Still you are interested in job, as a industrial Biotechnologist you can go for R&D in pharma manufacturing cos like Reddys labs, biocon and ranbaxy etc. in which there is perennial vacancies for your stream in the microbial fermentation and therapeutic enzymes divisions.
