Exemption from IGNOU Ph.D Entrance Exam

and
I am an M.Com holder (in 2002) and I do have UGC-NET qualification. for the past 6 years I'm teaching in an Aided college...

I would like to take a Ph.D from IGNOU.. in Jan 2012 session.. with the above qualification and experience, can I take an exemption from the Ph.D Entrance exam of IGNOU ? and Take a direct admission without entrance exam ?

yes, you are expempted

In the eligibility criteria of the M.Phil/Ph.D Programmes of IGNOU it says, However, candidates holding an M.Phil. Degree or those candidates who have cleared JEST of DAE, or UGC-NET, or GATE of IIT, or those having five years of relevant teaching/practical/industry/professional experience will be exempted from appearing at the Entrance Examination. Provided further that candidates who are employees of the University shall have completed at least two years of service in the University on the date they submit the application for admission.

So you are exempted because you have a work experience of 6 years and you are a UGC-NET holder

i m mcom holder with 63% marks i want to do phd in commerce .............. is there any entrance exam or not
