Hi All,
I would like to get some info/opinions regarding part time MBA (distance mode) courses available in India. I've heard of Symbiosis PGDBA and ICFAI MBA. Which is better in terms of Course material, Cost, Recognition etc? Are there better options?

Hi,
Currently i'm working as a software professional, and i'm looking for a career switch towards finance. Specifically I would like to become a financial planner. Also I would want to get an understanding of the different systems in a business, so that in future I will be able to start on my own. I can't quit my job right now and go for full time cause i have a few commitments to keep. I know about the CFP certification, but it stipulates that one required 3 yrs exp in the finance sector, which I have none. So I thought of getting an MBA part time, move out of software. Gain the exp...and simultaneously go for certifications.
