ADMISSION TO Phd PROGRAMME AT VTU


Applications are invited for registration to Full time / Part time Ph.D. Programs in Visveshwaraiah Technological University (VTU). The university offers Ph.D. Programs in a range of fields including Engineering, Science, Business Administration, and Computer Applications.

Application Form is already available at the website of the university http://www.vtu.ac.in. The last date of submission of application is 7th August, 2008. Candidates need to submit the completed application form along with all the necessary documents, and a Demand Draft of Rs. 200/- drawn in favour of Finance Officer, VTU, Belgaum. Candidates should also enclose 7 envelops, each of which should have postal stamp of Rs. 10/- with complete addresses of Candidate (3 nos.), Guide, Co-Guide, Principal or Head of the organization where the candidate registers for Ph.D. and the Parent College.

Admission will be based on a Technical Aptitude Test, to be held on 14th September, 2008 (Sunday) from 11.00 am to 1.00 pm, at Bangalore and Belgaum. For further details regarding Regulations, Recognized Research Centres, Course Work, Fee Structure, and Syllabus for the test, you can visit to the Website of the VTU.

Those who have already cleared the Technical Aptitude Test of VTU held after 01.09.2006 need not to appear for the above mentioned test once again. Though, they have to send fresh application with the proof of passing the test. Qualified GATE or equivalent National level test candidates also need not appear in the Technical Aptitude Test, yet need to send fresh applications.
