I am the only girl child in my family, other than my two brothers. Am I eligible to apply for Indira Gandhi Scholarship for Single Girl Child given by UGC for doing PG courses?

In a family if one son and one daughter is available then girl child will not be considered for scholarship under UGC Post-Graduate Indira Gandhi Scholarship for Single Girl Child.

My mom is a single parent and I am her only daughter.Though I am pursuing post graduation in the field of dentistry, I am in 2nd year (The course is of three years duration). Am I eligible to take this exam?
