I am doing BTech and wish to get a job in Government sector. So I am planning to apply for IES (Indian Engineering Services) Exam after BTech. To which all areas does UPSC makes appointments to on the basis of IES Exam?

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts IES (Indian Engineering Services) Exam. It helps to fill the requirements in various Central Government departments like Central Public Works Department, Water Commission, Railways, Power Sector, Defence Sector etc.
