Students may apply either by hard copy or online at http://www.kvpy.org.in
Those who are unable to do so, may request for a hard copy enclosing therewith the paid "Bank Challan/Pay-in-slip" (available at http://www.kvpy.org.in) clearly indicating the stream (i.e.SA/SX,/SB) on the envelope. APPLICATION FEE: An application fee of Rs. 500/- may be remitted at any core banking branch of STATE BANK OF INDIA to the credit of "Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) A/c. No. 10270577392. Application fee is exempted for a) Students belonging to SC/ST b) Students with Disabilities - Physically and Visually challenged Students. The completed application form with the following documents super scribing on the envelope the stream applied for, has to be submitted to The Convener, Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY), Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore - 560 012: i) Caste certificate issued by a competent authority in the prescribed pro forma in the case of SC/ST students. ii) Medical certificate from the prescribed authority in case of physically and visually challenged students certifying the percentage of disability. iii) Copy of the marks statement of the qualifying examination(s). iv) Original pay-in-slip Last date for closing of online application: 29th August 2013 Last date for receipt of the completed application both Online/ Hard copy: 02nd September 2013
