Applying for CAT for Lateral Entry candidates

I would like to appear for CAT exam 2013. But I did a polytechnic diploma after my CBSE class 10 and then got into B.E Computer Science through Lateral Entry. Means I don't have a 10+2 scoresheet. Will that be a problem while applying for CAT ? Or If I am selected, getting into the IIM's ?

No I dont think it will be a problem in any ways. You can confidently apply for CAT examination. Concentrate on your studies and try to get a good score, stop worrying about silly things like this.
