What is the eligibility criteria needed to apply for Bureau of Police Research & Development (BPRD) Fellowship 2015 that is given to do research work in Police Science?

Master’s Degree not less than 55% marks for General Category and 50% for Reserve Category (SC/ST/OBC) in Criminology, Sociology, Social Work, Psychology. Social Anthropology, Public Administration, Political Science, Law and Police Administration. Preference shall be given to the NET/SET qualified candidates.
The candidate should be registered for Ph.D programme with any of the recognized Indian university in Criminology/ Police Science.
The fellowship is open to Indian nationals upto 28 years of age (General Category) and 33 years (Reserve Category) (SC/ST/OBC) as on the date of publication of Advertisement. Three years relaxation in age will be permissible to the candidates possessing LL.M degree. Total age relaxation on the above ground(s) shall not exceed five years under any circumstances.

All the applicants who are waiting for the BPRD Fellowship 2015 then it is the right time to apply through online/ offline mode. The candidates eligible for this PhD Fellowship must possess the Master's degree from any recognized university with minimum 55% (General) 50% (Reserved Category). First preference will be given to NET/ SET qualified applicants. Age limit for General category is up to 28 years and for Reserved Category should have 33 years.
