Hello
I am an M.COM graduate from Bharathiyar University and wish to apply for Oriental Insurance Specialist Account officer post. Can I apply for that position ? Somebody saying only Chartered Accountant can apply for that. Is it true ?

Yes, you can apply. Oriental Insurance AO exam advertisement states the Qualification for Accounts officer is Chartered Accountant (ICAI) / B. Com / M. Com from any of the recognized Indian Universities duly approved by the UGC or any of the recognized Indian Institutes duly approved by AICTE.

Please refer Employment News dated 28 Feb 15, Pg No 07, Para5. It is clearly written M Com is also an eligibility criteria.

Hello! I am a law graduate (LLB) and wanting to appear for OICL AO exam 2015 but the confusion is, as it is mentioned in the advertisement itself about the preference in specialist stream will be given to post qualification or rather experienced which stream should I choose as I do not have any experience in the insurance sector.
