Here is my chapter/ sectionwise analysis of IBPS RRB Officer Scale I Preliminary Examination 09.09.2017 examination for both the shifts for Reasoning anf Quantitative Aptitude papers

Reasoning 

• Syllogism: 5 Questions
  
• Inequalities: 5 Questions
  
• Puzzles and Arrangements: 20 Questions 
  
• Coding-Decoding: 5 Questions 
  
  
• Miscellaneous: 5 Questions
  

Out of the above sections Puzzles section was the difficult one. Rest others are easy

Quantitative Aptitude

• Number Series: 5 Questions
  
• Data Interpretation: 15 Questions
  
• Approximation: 5 Questions
  
• Quadratic Equation: 5 Questions
  
• Miscellaneous: (Averages, Ages, Ratio, Speed &Time, Profit and Loss, Time and Work,  etc.): 10  Questions
  

 In QA all sections  are of Moderate difficulty, 2-3 questions from ratio, profit and loss etc was a bit harder.
