How to take Maths as an additional subject in CBSE?

I am a plus one student and in PCB stream. I would like to take maths as an additional subject for writing Engineering Entrance. What is the procedure to take maths as an additional subject ? Can I write for Maths exam after completing my course ?

Taking Maths as an additional subject is an easy option. You can register yourself as a private student for taking Mathematics as an additional subject. This can be done within 6 years after passing your +2 examination. You will be allowed to write the examination only with the annual examination of each year.
