Is National Research Council of Canada (NSERC) offering Visiting Fellowships for scientists with the opportunity to work in Canada?

NSERC offers Visiting Fellowship scholarship to provide young scientists with the opportunity to work with established research groups and leaders in their chosen fields in Canadian Govt, federal research laboratories. Appointments are initially made for one year but can be renewed for second and/or third year. Fellows are provided the opportunity to work with a dozen Canadian government departments.
Eligibility: Applicants must possess: (1) a doctorate from a recognized university within the last five years; or (2) enrollment in a PhD program at a recognized university. They are expected to complete all requirements for the degree including thesis within six months after submitting an application for fellowship.
