Can you suggest different ways to improve the role of Personnel Management in India?

(1) Organisation structures should be so designed as to promote line-staff mutuality and
cooperation.
(2) Personnel management should be extended to wider aspects not confined to mere legal and
welfare aspects.
(3) Training should be imparted to personnel managers in behavioural sciences such as selection,
performance evaluation, group dynamics etc.
(4) Personnel manager should reorganise his own perception about his role.
