If I complete MTech form Germany and wish to work there, should I convert my student visa to work permit immediately?

After successful completion of the study in Germany, you can continue to stay in Germany up to a period of one year to look for a job not only in Germany buy anywhere in Europe. If a student is able to find a job during this period of one year, he or she can get his/her student visa transferred to a normal residence permit issued under the current law. But, in case a student is able to find a job in another country, he or she has to obtain a work permit for that country.
