I have qualified JRF. Should I appear again for IIAST to be eligible for the Phd offered at Indian Institute of Astrophysics (IIA), Bangalore? Who all are Exempted from IIAST - IIA Phd Screening test ?

Candidates qualified in Physics subject in JEST scoring 96 percentile and above, and/or Physics subject in GATE scoring 96 percentile and above, and/or UGC-CSIR-NET for Junior Research Fellowship will be exempted from the screening test. JEST/ GATE/ UGC-CSIR test holders will be called for the personal interview at IIA Bangalore.
