Southampton Management School at UK’s University of Southampton is offering two scholarships of worth £5000 each to Indian students for the full-time AMBA accredited MBA programme starting September 2013. The University of Southampton full-time MBA course is of one year duration and will give students the tools, knowledge and confidence to challenge conventional thinking and succeed in today’s fast-moving business world by standing out, not blending in. This programme consists of four parts. Part 1 comprises ten core modules. One of these modules takes students to the Netherlands for a residential week including seminars by practitioners and academics, as well as company visits. Part 2 involves the choice of two optional modules. Part 3 is an integrative section that involves four inter-related elements and a substantial amount of group work, giving students the opportunity to pull together and apply theories from parts 1 and 2. Studying for the Southampton MBA will give students the chance to meet and network with other future business leaders from around the world.
Applicants who wish to apply for the scholarships are required to have at least four years of work experience and be at least 26 years old. English language requirements are at IELTS 6.5 with no less than 6.0 in any component, or equivalent and candidates must be academically excellent. The fee for the programme is £23500 and the deadline to apply for the full-time MBA scholarships is 30th January 2013.
