What is the negative marking penalty scheme of IBPS PO examination ? Is it better to attempt the question or just to leave ? Which idea you prefer ?

For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate one fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty for IBPS PO examination. If a question is left blank, i.e. no answer is marked by the candidate, there will be no penalty for that question.
So What I suggest is,
So the better Idea is to leave the question if you dont know the question as such. If you are confused between at least two options, better to attempt it by taking one of the options. Means if you are confused whether the answer is A or D and sure that B and C are wrong. Try your luck by selecting either A or D

It seems to be one-quarterth of a mark for each wrong answer made.
