1. Ionic compounds have high melting points as compared to covalent compounds because of stronger electrostatic forces between cations and anions + lattice energy.
2. Intramolecular forces are stronger than intermolecular forces.
3. A compound having hydrogen bonds have high boiling point than other form ( isomeric) which have no hydrogen bonds.
