The UK based University of Sheffield will be holding interactive counselling session across India in order to assist Indian students in choosing the right course for a bright career. Ranked 13th in the UK in the 2013-14 Times Higher Education World University Rankings, the University of Sheffield is a premier-league, research-led institution with a population of over 25,000 students, including more than 6,000 international students from 116 countries. The University offers a vast range of academic and professional courses in subjects like Medicine, Management, Engineering, Computer Science, Entrepreneurship, Architecture, Law and Humanities, allowing students to choose from 50 academic departments.
Ms. Ruth Lauener, who is the International Officer (South Asia) at the University of Sheffield, will be holding student counseling session from 22nd May to 3rd June in different cities. She will be interacting on a one-to-one basis with students and advising them on undergraduate and postgraduate course choices, the application procedure and scholarship opportunities available at the University. She will also be making on-the-spot offers for selected undergraduate courses to students presenting their Standard XII results. The following is the schedule for her visit:
